Diddy “Hurt” over Jay Electronica Signing!
Last night, Jay-Z announced Jay Electronica as the newest addition to RocNation and although this was great news for most, others didn’t seem so happy about it….
Earlier today, Diddy tweeted “Damn it hurts in a whole other way when someone you felt and I mean really felt was your Friend, Betrays you. It hurts when Breathe.”
Over the last couple months, Diddy tried getting Jay Electronica to Bad Boy Records and they even recorded the song, “The Ghost Of Christopher Walllace†together. Shortly after the tweet, Erykah Badu (the mother of Jay’s daughter tweeted a response by simply saying “I’m Sorry.”
If you had to choose TODAY between RocNation or Bad Boy Records, which would you choose??

Roc Nation without a question. the fact of the matter is Diddy has only so much talent as far as those he signed goes, and most of that talent was from the nineties as of now his hip hop roster is empty. Jay-Z and anyone he stands with has never not had a powerhouse as far a simply an aspect of not being raped by the industry goes Jay-Z is your best bet.
Roc nation!! I believe did may be taking it too personal. Just because a person is friends and do a son together doesn’t mean that they have to sign with you! He probably received a better deal from jay then diddy offered!! Obviously or he would have signed with diddy! He probably wanted creative control and jay was willing and diddy wants to dance and be a star too in artist videos. He did what he felt was best for him! Get over it!! Just like diddy would have done the same!!
I love what Jay and Puff do… They are both business men.However, Puff and Badboy leaves artist carnage once signed(chewed up and spit out). There never staying power or Longivity Look at the track record.
