5 Ways to Enjoy Sex in 2011

1. Dance.
Dancing is fun, creative, and helps each partner get in a more energetic space so they have more energy to exchange with each other during a sexual experience. Partners can either dance together, side by side, or for each other. The important thing to remember is that this is purely for fun. If either partner steps on toes, feels awkward, or looks a little silly, laugh it off! Keep it light-hearted. When dancing together they can be sensual, sexy, or simply hold one another to bond heart to heart. Side by side they can be wild, silly, sexy, or just have fun dancing to a beat. When dancing for each other, they can be seductive, silly, playful, or even tease the other a little bit. Remember, it is not important how each person dances. What is important is that each is having fun.

2. Share food.
This can involve cooking a meal together, or partners can get creative in the way they eat the meal. It helps if while cooking the sense of smell is stimulated as well as the taste buds. To keep it playful, its best if couples avoid slipping into conversation while eating. Instead, they can have fun with the food. They can be sensual with it (sucking, slurping, licking, and so forth). Or, they can feed each other and watch as the other person slowly chews the meal savoring every bite as much as possible to intensify the experience (remember ecstatic sex aims for depth, not breadth in the experience). And, the couple can even engage in an old fashioned food fight with laughter all around.

3. Dress up.
Dressing up can include the usual “play clothes” from Victoria’s Secret for the ladies. A variety of “play clothes” is helpful with different styles and colors to savor and explore during each play session. Though men tend to be less adventurous along these lines, they can have fun playing dress up for their ladies as well.

4. Tease.
Teasing and seducing is different in a playful sex encounter than it is in a junk food sex episode. In junk food sex seduction attempts to force and over-ride the values and feelings of another person so he or she will give in and give the other person what he or she wants. In playful sex, both partners already know they want each other. They are following the ground rules for playful sex before they even get started. During play time, the teasing is simply a game of establishing a certain level of tension and excitement between the two partners. Each should remember, however, that teasing should not lead to a growing sense of frustration. Rather, it is fun, exciting, and interesting to discover just how long the two people can keep up the creative tension before they just simply have to give in out of pure delight and pleasure.

5. Massage.
There are all kinds of ways to use massage during sex (playful, healing, sensual for example). In playful sex the goal of the massage is not to relax or heal the body of the other person. It is to help each partner’s body wake up and feel more alert and aroused. Stroking each other’s bodies with a feather is one example. Light tapping strokes is another.
