Tech Talk Review: IFWT Puts Hands On The Retina Macbook Pro!!!!
O…k..k..k..I just figured since Love & Hip Hop ATL was running with Lil Scrappy, we could hear that…No, Ok Let’s move on. As you can See by the Pic above, the Apple Store is All about the NEW Retina Macbook Pro, So we went in to Chek it out!! Hit the Jump.
I have to say I totally LOVE going to the Apple Store, even if it’s for absolutely nothing, but for something like the All NEW Retina Macbook Pro, I’m ecstatic!!! So as soon As I entered the door, I went right over to the heat. Actually I went to the NEW Macbook, that wasn’t Retina, Although completely tough, but wasn’t what I was there for, and then ahhh, I found it. Man it is Thin as Hell!!! Then We took it for a spin. OMG, the screen is So F’in Clear, like even on a super zoom in, there is No distortion what so ever!!
I can’t believe how clear the screen is. And let me tell the other crazy thing is…The Speed, Once I acquire one of these, I will feel like I’m looking into the future, while some people will be letting a site load at about 4 to 5 sec’s, I will already have read more than half of what’s on the page, because I will have been there AS SOON AS I Hit The Button 0_o
Overall, you should look through the pics, and watch the Vids, But I can tell you this is an Incredible device. Now, let’s get some things Clear, Although I’m pretty sure I’m gonna grab one of these at some point, I do have some reservations. 1st I don’t enjoy the fact that there is NO optical drive(aka NO Place to put a CD/DVD), but I do get that’s what is making it So Thin(very close to the Air). Now Another thing is the price, it’s pricy, But you know what they say, well 2 things they say, 1st, if you have to ask….2nd is, You get what you pay for!! Now that leads me to the last thing that bothers me about this bad boy, It’s NOT upgradable. Once you set your mind to purchasing one of the NEW Retina Macbook’s, You must know before the purchase that once you get it, there is NO going back, your RAM is Set in stone, SO My advice is, you should max your RAM out to the Full 16gb’s when you buy it, then there is nothing that you will need to enhance anyway, I mean I don’t see a need to make your hard drive an SSD or anything, and IF you’re really looking for that type of speed, go ahead and go full package, with the fastest processor(up to 3.7 with a Turbo Boost), and 768GB’s of Flash storage, can anyone say BEAST!!!!
