NBA: Uh-Oh, Is There Tension Between The Big 3 Of The Miami Heat?

Trouble brewing in south beach? I wouldn’t call it a “beef” by any means, but after the game 6 loss to the Indiana Pacers, it seems there could be some tension between the big 3 of the Heat. More specifically the tension seems to be Wade&Bosh against Lebron. Following consecutive ugly games by Wade & Bosh in which they were both non-factors, Wade seems to think Bron’ might be trying to do too much and it comes at the cost of Wade & Bosh during the game. Bosh & Wade have been playing through some nagging injuries, so let us give them credit for that, but at this time of year that is what your supposed to do. Wade seemed to have alot to say regarding him not getting the ball more the past couple games. He was quoted with the following.

“We’ve got to do a good job of making sure me and Chris have our opportunities to succeed throughout the game,” Wade said. “That’s something we’re going to have to look at as a team. We’ve got guys individually who want to play better,” Wade said. “But we’ve got to try to help each other out in this locker room and not leave it up to the individual to self-will it. Clearly some of that was directed towards Lebron. But how do you tell Lebron to not try and do so much when he is the most dominant player in the NBA. And let us be real here people. Heat fans or not, if you have eyes and your a basketball fan, you can see Wade & Bosh are not the same players they were even a couple years ago. When they decided to become the big 3, they had to realize Bron was going to be the man and they were not going to be the same players they were when they were stars of their own teams. There is no issue however when things are good and your wining game and coming off a championship year. But when things get tense and the pressure mounts like it is this series, now the real feelings start to show a little bit. Lebron stated the obvious when he was asked after the game, but also tried to be a good teammate and defend the other 2.

“I mean, we can state the obvious; they’re both struggling,” James said of Wade and Bosh. “When you’re struggling, the best thing to get is a layup or a dunk. [Wade] missed a couple of them … Chris is struggling with his shot and him hurting his ankle didn’t help.”

So yeah, Bron’ knows they have some injuries, but he also knows that straight up the other 2 members of the big 3 are just flat out struggling. Wade is not as fast as he used to be, then combine that with shots not falling and you start to question how the game plan is. Bosh who really hasn’t been a factor the entire series, is having a hard time with Pacers center Roy Hibbert and the physical level of the series. All I know is the Heat do not need questions in their locker room at this time in the season. Everything will continue to run through Lebron and people need to step up, just like it has been all season.
