(Photos) 10 Year Old Gets Punished For Doing WHAT At School Event?!
Dorsthill Community Primary School, which is located in the English town of Tamworth, was holding their annual school history event and encouraged students to dress like those who participated in World War II. The staff was surprised by 10 year old William Ghassemi, who showed up in an Adolf Hitler costume, forcing him to wash off his Hitler mustache and remove his swastika armband. William’s mother, Davina, was angered by the treatment of her son and said the staff’s reaction was over the top. Do you agree? Or do you think the child’s costume was inappropriate? Davina explained that her son, William, was a history buff and was excited to play Hitler because he was one of the key players in WWII. She defended her son’s choice costume, saying the school letter didn’t limit children to be the “good guys” of WWII. Tony Hand, the school’s headmaster, stood by his teacher’s actions and explained that he didn’t want the costumes at the event to offend any students or parents.
Who’s in the wrong here? Is the school over reacting or is this an example of bad parenting?

I think the kid’s costume was brilliant. Having a WWII dress-up party and banning Hitler is like having a U.S. Civil War party and banning a Jefferson Davis costume.
He was the leading propellant of the war, and the one who arguably created and spread fascism. How could you possibly remove Hitler from WWII. Kudos to this kid for having the wherewithal to understand the war and dress as the most pivitol actor in the world conflict.
I know, wouldn’t want to offend anyone by doing anything. I am glad the message was made clear to the children: remember history, except the bad parts, and those parts that may offend the minority, no matter how small it may be. Better to forget the cause of millions of slaughtered jews, Russians, Poles, French, British, Americans, Italians, Greeks, Germans and various others than to offend even one mum in Tamworth, right? Give me a break.
To be fair he used way too much hair grease. He would have gotten all the 10 year old girls falling over him if he’d gone in SS uniform, too.
Absolutely disgusting, that little Nazi should be expelled from school and put to death for all of the chosen people he offended.
