There Are Various Theories For Beyonce’s “Drinking Watermelon” Line: Which Do YOU Think It Is?
Beyonce’s “Drunk In Love” is burning up the charts, and though we love to sing along…we’re not completely positive what exactly we’re talking about half the time. I know a lot of you are still pretty shocked at just how naughty the “surfboard” reference was…and could the “drinking watermelon line” be just as provocative? There are several theories floating around out there, ranging from literally drinking watermelon, to a possible product endorsement, to something even crazier than “Surfboard!” Check them all out below and let us know your thoughts!

Rap Genius took the literal route, adding that watermelon is named as one of the top 5 aphrodisiac foods. Meanwhile, model/artist Miss Paris, who is close with Weezy’s crew, offered up a different take on Twitter, noting that YMCMB producer Detail helped pen the track and threw in the watermelon as a GT Vodka reference. Another take I’ve seen floating around on Twitter dives a little deeper, comparing drinking watermelon (which has “seeds”) to…well…you know, drinking something else that has seeds. Yeah…that.
