Bobby Shmurda Dies In Rikers? Nah!!!!! There was a story going around on social media claiming the 21 year old “Hot N***a was stabbed to death in Rikers Island jail by a cell mate. This story is entirely false. There is a picture of the rapper covered in blood in a cell which is also a hoax.However the hoax news by Huzlers has gained a lot of attention in social media with over 14,000 Facebook shares and over 300 twitter posts as of early Saturday. “He was alive about a week ago….Bobby Shmurda stabbed to death in jail by cell mate,” said ‘Karl along’ on Twitter. An article saying Bobby Shmurda, real name Ackquille Jean Pollard, was killed by his jail mate is fake. The Brooklyn rapper wasn’t murdered, and 29 year old “Antwan Mauldin” isn’t a real person. Some people were apparently confused by the whole thing, tweeting “RIP Bobby.” The bogus report was published on Huzlers.com, which describes itself as “satirical.”Here’s the disclaimer (on the bottom left of the article page): “Huzlers.com is a combination of urban news and satirical entertainment to keep its visitors in a state of disbelief.”Thousands of people were sharing the fake news article as of Friday night.

He was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, weapons possession, and reckless endangerment, according to The Associated Press.He was held on $2 million bail shortly after.
