Sports: UFC Star Conor McGregor Says He Would Kill Floyd Mayweather In 30 Seconds, Floyd Responds!
Why do UFC stars loving throwing shade at Floyd Mayweather? Is it jealousy? Envy? Do they wish they had the influence and power he has and do they resent him for it? I’m not really sure what it is but it seems some of the biggest stars in the sport love to talk negatively about Floyd. Conor McGregor is the latest one to pop off at the mouth towards Floyd, saying he “would kill him in 30 seconds”. Let’s see what Floyd has to say about that.

As far as I know, Floyd has never dissed or disrespected any MMA fighter or the sport itself, other than saying comments like humans shouldn’t fight in cages and saying boxing is totally different than MMA.
Floyd is definitely right about that and a large majority of people would think an MMA fighter could beat a boxer because they know how to fight besides just their hands. Floyd has also pointed out in the past that boxing fights are 12 rounds with 36 minutes total and MMA fighters aren’t built for that. Either way regardless of what type of fighting you prefer all of these guys (and girls Ms. Rousey) are incredible athletes, although it still remains to be seen a fighter with the dedication of Floyd.
McGregor, never one to shy away from bold and controversial statements, was asked about Mayweather in the latest issue of Esquire magazine. And he pulled no punches.
“I don’t look at a man who’s expert in one area as a specialist,” McGregor told Esquire. “I look at him as a rookie in ten other areas. If you can box, what happens if I grab hold of your legs? If you put me face-to-face with Floyd Mayweather — pound-for-pound boxing’s best — if I fought Floyd, I would kill him in less than thirty seconds. It would take me less than thirty seconds to wrap around him like a boa constrictor and strangle him.”
Sources close to Mayweather tell us Floyd doesn’t give a damn and “scoffed” when he saw the quotes and said, “I don’t take that dude seriously. He’s just trying to get himself some publicity.” Floyd currently has a real fight to worry about instead of trading jabs with someone trying to use a little bit of that Mayweather shine.

Conor is right. Boxing is the sport of punching. Mma is the sport of fighting. If floyd is only a talented puncher, conor would give him a few kicks to see what happened. Floyd, would get upset because leg kicks wreck your mobility. He would try a punch that closes ground like a superman punch. At that moment, Conor would slip the attempt. Floyd and conor wpuld now be in clinch. Floyd might be able to hit conor in the clinch, but he just took a knee to the gut. Conor takes him down and armbar submits floyd, just like aronda rousy would do. Thirty seconds and its all over for Floyd. Why would Floyd ever fight mma? He makes 30 mil a fight. Mma fighters make 3 to 30k a fight. Too bad, because boxing gives you head trauma From all the head shots and knockouts. Mma is a much safer sport and realer too. I know boxing is traditional, but mma is real fighting and therefore universal among all humans on earth.

Mayweather’s punching power and skill level far exceeds that of mcGregors. That’s why he is undefeated in 60 or 70 fights and he is going to make 100 million his next fight win lose or draw.

Been watching boxing and mma for a long time. if you would put a boxer against an mma fighter, the boxer would most likely get their ass whooped. It is funny how someone would say “lets just go on our feet and throw”. Well guess what, an mma fighter will still win.
