(Video) Lil Wayne Posts $500,000 Bond For His Protégé Flow, Flow Goes Right Back To Jail

New Orleans police early Friday arrested Lil Wayne protégé Widner “Flow” Degruy and two others after they were indicted Thursday in the Memorial Day slayings of two brothers in New Orleans East. Hit the jump to see the details.

Flow, who is signed to Young Money, originally was booked July 1 on a pair of murder charges in the slayings of a longtime friend, Kendrick “Muddy Cup” Bishop, 22, and his 18-year-old brother, Kendred Bishop. The siblings were shot dead May 25 as they sat in a Kia sedan in the 3800 block of Bright Drive.

Flow, 23, made his $500,000 bail after that arrest and was out free until authorities scooped him up Friday on the new indictment, along with a girlfriend, Jamya “Mya” Brady.

She is newly charged on two obstruction counts.

Also arrested in the killings, and indicted this week, was alleged accomplice Jonathan “Lil Joe” Evans, 18, who has remained behind bars on $535,000 bail since his initial arrest.

A fourth defendant, Chantell Edwards, who is accused in the indictment as an accessory after the fact to the killings, remained at large Friday morning.

The six-count indictment accuses both men of the murders and a conspiracy to commit murder, as well as obstruction of justice and conspiracy to obstruct justice.

Brady faces both obstruction counts as well.

Authorities say Brady helped Evans flee the scene of the double murder, while Flow hid out with Edwards at her residence in the 4900 block of Nottingham Court, near Joe Brown Memorial Park in eastern New Orleans.

“I’m just living on borrowed time til he FREE,” Brady posted on Instagram about Degruy, above the hashtag “@FreeFlow,” while the rapper was jailed in July prior to making bond. “NOBODY understands me like he do.”

A police report suggests Flow had left his phone at the scene after unleashing a storm of gunfire on the two brothers and was trying to retrieve it in an interaction that was caught on a police officer’s body camera.

Police say Degruy showed up after the killings, spotted a cellphone on the ground and acted shocked, in what authorities describe as feigned surprise.

“Hold up, hold up,” Flow reportedly said. “That’s my phone.”

Police say he also lied about his name, then changed his story and said he opened the door to the brothers’ home to the sound of gunshots ringing out. He told police he ran to the Kia and tried to call police, but his phone’s screen was cracked, so in a fit of rage he threw the phone on the ground, according to a police report.

Police arrested Flow after viewing video footage from Bright Drive, which allegedly shows Flow and another man running from the car after the gunfire.

Orleans Parish Criminal District Court Judge Franz Zibilich set new bails for Flow and Evans at $3.5 million. The judge set Brady’s bail at $500,000 and Edwards’ at $250,000.
