(Update) Breaking: Several People Injured From Gunman Shooting Up U.S. Navy Yard In Washington!

The shooter that has been found dead, has been identified as, Aaron Alexis. Alexis has recently started working in the Yard as a civilian contractor. Alexis is also the gunman who has died – among the 11 others. SAD!

So, upon arrival at, George Washington University Hospital, a victim was pronounced dead. The 60-year-old victim has one gunshot wound to the side of the head. Now, there is news that one of the shooters is dead, and the other two may be on the run.
As described earlier, one of the shooters looked like a black male with a dark complexion, approximately 5’10” to 6 feet tall, 170 pounds with a black shirt and black hat. Another is described as a white male wearing a khaki military uniform, short sleeves and a beret, who was last seen with a handgun. Seems as if these guys fit in, like the rest on the Navy Yard. Easy to get pass. What are you all thinking was the reasoning behind this? Clearly, from the descriptions, these aren’t outside attackers.

So, there may be two shooters after all, and one seems to be, “contained,” but not yet in custody. One of the gunman said to have been shooting from the fourth floor of the building, and aiming for the cafeteria.
Only a few of the 3,000 workers have been quoted about what was happening at the time of the shooting. One worker described the sounds as a pop, pop, pop. I’m wondering what are the exit strategies.

There seems to be more than one shooter. When most originally thought it was one, there may be up to three. CRAZY! What’s the hold-up with finding these dudes?!

Sad to say but, the victim numbers continue to rise. 12 people shots – 4 now deceased, and eight remain wounded.

The victims has went from four to five to ten. At first is was three civilians, a DC officer and a security officer for the base. The numbers continue to rise.
The shooter has not been identified however, he’s being described as a black male with a dark complexion, approximately 5’10” to 6 feet tall, 170 pounds with a black shirt and black hat.
The FAA has issued a notice that all ground stops at Reagan National Airport will take effect until further notice.
“Mutual support & assistance to the Metropolitan Police Department,” is working in full bloom, according to the state’s police force.
This is a real random act. I hope that everyone gets through this. More details as they are released.

This morning around 8:20am, shots were heard ringing in the ears of some 3,000 workers on a U.S. Navy Yard in Washington. At least four people are injured, and in critical condition due to the events that’s taking place at the, Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters building.
It’s being mentioned the shooter remains active, and has barricaded himself into a room. Additional security has been set, and the details are still rolling in.
